BorgWarner supplies advanced integrated electric drive module iDM220 to two major Chinese new energy vehicle companies

BorgWarner has established a partnership with two major Chinese new energy vehicle companies to provide them with the integrated electric drive module iDM220. This module has been used in Ideal Auto's L8 and L9 extended-range electric vehicles. Another automaker plans to mass-produce models equipped with this module in the second quarter of 2024. BorgWarner's iDM220 has high integration and high performance, suitable for different installation requirements. The module includes a stator motor, gearbox and controller, all of which are independently developed by BorgWarner.
