United Electronics launches CHARCON, an on-board charging and distribution unit, and begins mass production

In December 2023, United Electronics launched the new generation of on-board charging and distribution unit CHARCON, which will serve global markets including China, Europe, North America and Japan. CHARCON integrates an on-board charger and a high-voltage DC converter, provides two power options of 7.2kW and 11kW, and supports multiple charging protocols. In addition, it also has functions such as temperature monitoring, electronic locks, LED display, and complies with ASIL D functional safety standards.
