Vector Launches Ethernet Switch Software Solution Supporting AUTOSAR Standard

Vector announced the launch of the first Marvell Brightlane Ethernet switch software solution that supports the AUTOSAR standard. The software follows the AUTOSAR methodology for model definition, distribution, and module development. By moving a large amount of Ethernet communication code to run on the switch, the CPU resources of the host microcontroller can be freed up to improve the efficiency of other tasks. At the same time, the software supports security functions such as firewalls and MACsec. This solution helps to cope with the problem of increased CPU load caused by the increase in the number of Ethernet ports and accelerates time to market.
