Germany's Vector Informatik acquires U.S.-based Gimpel Software LLC

On March 18, 2022, Vector Informatik of Germany announced that it has acquired all assets of Gimpel Software LLC of the United States. Gimpel Software has been a pioneer in static analysis software since 1985. The acquisition will expand Vector Informatik's product portfolio of dynamic testing solutions for embedded and distributed systems, adding "PC-lint Plus", a code-centric static analysis solution.
