EHang Intelligent and CATEC successfully completed the Spanish BAUD project

EHang and the Spanish Center for Advanced Aerospace Technology (CATEC) jointly completed the BAUD project, which aims to improve the operational safety and efficiency of drone logistics missions and integrate them into the European U-Space airspace. The two parties developed automatic airborne beacons, using the Global Navigation Satellite System, EGNOS and Galileo systems to achieve precise positioning and share information such as drone status. The project test was carried out at CATEC's ATLAS test flight center using EHang's Falcon B (logistics version) drone. This achievement is not only applicable to EHang's drones, but can also be applied to other drones to ensure their safe operation in European airspace.
