Wind River and TCS Collaborate to Build a 5G/Open RAN Distributed Mobile Network Infrastructure Ecosystem

Wind River has partnered with TCS to jointly launch a vRAN solution based on Wind River Studio. This strategic partnership aims to create a full-stack mobile infrastructure solution to help TCS with deployment and engineering services in 4G-5G vRAN next-generation networks. Vimal Kumar, vice president of network solutions and services at TCS, said they look forward to working with Wind River to use 5G technology to bring better business experience to customers. Avijit Sinha, chief product officer at Wind River, emphasized that operators are looking for flexible and economical solutions to reduce deployment complexity and ongoing maintenance. Wind River offers mature products that have been deployed in practical applications by leading operators.
