CATL and Tesla deepen cooperation to build a battery factory

The cooperation between CATL and Tesla began in early 2020, and the two parties cooperated from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022. In June 2021, the two parties renewed the contract and agreed to continue cooperation from January 2022 to December 2025. Currently, the lithium iron phosphate batteries for Tesla's Shanghai factory are all supplied by CATL. In addition, CATL also plans to build a battery factory with Tesla.
