Tesla changes strategy and abandons the new generation of manufacturing process integrated die casting

According to reports, the American electric car brand Tesla has decided to abandon its next-generation manufacturing process-one-piece die-casting plan. It is reported that Tesla will use a three-stage casting method to replace the original Giga Casting process. The change means Tesla will use more mature manufacturing techniques to produce the car, including the front and rear sections cast from gigabit castings and a middle section made of aluminum and steel frames to store the batteries. Although one-piece die-casting technology has significant advantages in reducing costs and production time, Tesla has had to make adjustments due to high initial investment costs.
