New energy vehicle production and sales increased significantly year-on-year in the first quarter

According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first quarter of this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.115 million and 2.09 million respectively, up 28.2% and 31.8% year-on-year. In addition, in the first half of April, the retail penetration rate of new energy passenger vehicles exceeded 50% for the first time, reaching 50.39%.
