Volkswagen subscribes to Xpeng Motors shares for US$705.6 million

Volkswagen subscribed for new shares issued by Xpeng Motors for US$705.6 million, acquiring a 4.99% stake and becoming a shareholder of Xpeng Motors. In addition, the two parties also signed a strategic technical cooperation agreement to jointly develop and produce two mid-size cars.
