Socionext develops ADAS and autonomous driving SoC based on 3nm automotive process

Socionext, a leader in SoC design and application technology, is developing ADAS and autonomous driving SoCs based on TSMC's 3nm automotive process "N3A", which is expected to be mass-produced in 2026. Compared with the 5nm N5 process, this process has an 18% performance improvement, 32% power reduction, and 60% transistor density increase at the same power. Socionext has functional safety certifications such as ISO26262, which will meet the development needs of automotive electronic systems.
