BMW Group and Rimac Technology enter into long-term partnership

The BMW Group announced a long-term partnership with Rimac Technology to jointly develop high-voltage battery technology to promote the electrification of some of BMW's pure electric models. This move will help the BMW Group maintain its leading position in the high-end electric vehicle market. It is expected that by 2030, pure electric vehicles will account for more than half of global car sales. As an important supplier in the field of automotive electrification, Rimac Technology provides products including high-voltage battery packs, drive motor systems, electronic and software solutions. This cooperation marks the transformation of Rimac Technology from a high-performance solution supplier to a high-volume Tier 1 supplier.
