Socionext Launches Fourth Generation Automotive Display Controller Series

Socionext Inc. announced that it has successfully developed the fourth-generation in-vehicle display controller SC1721/SC1722/SC1723 series, which has passed ISO 26262 functional safety certification and will start delivering samples to customers at the end of July 2022. The new series of controllers supports daisy-chaining multiple smart display controllers, up to four displays can be connected, improving vehicle wiring efficiency. At the same time, it integrates a variety of advanced functions such as LED control and motion compensation technology to improve vehicle safety.
