Infineon Technologies and Wolfspeed expand and extend 150mm SiC wafer supply agreement

Infineon Technologies and Wolfspeed announced the expansion and extension of the 150mm silicon carbide wafer supply agreement signed by the two parties in 2018. This move is aimed at improving the stability of Infineon's supply chain and meeting the demand for silicon carbide semiconductor products in automobiles, solar energy, electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Infineon is adopting a multi-channel procurement strategy to ensure a long-term and stable supply of 150mm and 200mm silicon carbide wafers.
