Solmates of the Netherlands uses pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technology

Solmates of the Netherlands uses pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technology to achieve thin film deposition of complex materials through excimer lasers. This technology is suitable for market areas such as MEMS, semiconductors, photovoltaics, OLED displays, and 5G communication RF filters. Solmates chose Coherent's LEAP excimer laser because of its high energy and scalable power to meet mass production needs. Currently, Solmates' PLD platform can support small-scale and large-scale production, and has added about 30 new materials and material systems.
