Renesas Electronics Launches High-Performance RZ/V2H Microprocessor

Renesas Electronics recently released the RZ/V2H microprocessor, designed for high-performance robotics applications. The processor integrates the next-generation AI accelerator DRP-AI3, with an energy efficiency of 10TOPS/W, providing up to 80TOPS of AI reasoning performance. RZ/V2H integrates four Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores and two Cortex-R8 cores, as well as a Cortex-M33 sub-core to achieve visual AI and real-time control functions. In addition, Renesas has also launched AI applications and AI SDK to accelerate the development of AI applications.
