EU launches anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese electric vehicle imports

The European Commission said it would launch an anti-subsidy investigation procedure on imported electric vehicles from China, arguing that Chinese-made electric vehicles benefited from government subsidies, which harmed the interests of European car companies. BYD, SAIC and Geely are the first Chinese car companies to accept the EU's anti-subsidy investigation.
