Since July 1, the domestic market has implemented new standards, allowing electronic (exterior) rearview mirrors (CMS) to be officially installed on vehicles. Brands such as Lotus and Avita have taken the lead in trying it. However, the high cost has made CMS an optional configuration. For example, the optional price of Lotus ELETRE's streaming media exterior rearview mirror is 16,000 yuan, and the optional price of SAIC Maxus is as high as 5,000 yuan. The maintenance cost of CMS is much higher than that of traditional rearview mirrors.
