VinFast plans to set up electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plant in India

Vietnamese electric car maker VinFast has signed an agreement with the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu to invest $2 billion to build an electric car and battery manufacturing plant in India, with construction expected to begin this year.
