Chengdu Yuneng Technology's 7GWh energy storage and consumer battery production base project went into operation

On April 30, Sichuan Chengdu Yuneng Technology's 7GWh energy storage and consumer battery production base project was officially put into production. The project has a total investment of 5 billion yuan and will be built in two phases. The first phase will invest about 800 million yuan to mainly establish a research and development center and production workshop, and produce 4 automated production lines, with an estimated daily output of 120,000 large cylindrical energy storage lithium batteries and consumer batteries. The second phase will invest about 4.2 billion yuan to expand production scale. The base will become the first lithium battery production enterprise in Jianyang City, promote the development of local light industrialization, and inject new vitality into Chengdu's new energy and new materials industry.
