Renesas Electronics Releases Automotive ECU Virtualization Solution Platform

Renesas Electronics and ETAS have jointly launched an integrated automotive-grade ECU virtualization platform. Through the combination of RH850/U2x MCU and RTA-HVR software, automotive electronic system designers can integrate multiple applications in a single ECU, making them safe, reliable and relatively independent from each other. This solution helps reduce development workload, reduce vehicle wiring harness weight and complexity, and maximize reuse of existing technologies.
