It is responsible for recording key data of the vehicle when an accident occurs, such as speed, brake status, airbag status, etc., providing important basis for accident analysis and liability determination. At present, many well-known car brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, etc. have equipped their models with EDR systems. According to statistics, there are more than 1 billion cars on the road every year in the world, and more than 10% of them are equipped with EDR devices.
