MediaTek and Meta Llama jointly develop 2 major language models

MediaTek will combine Meta's new generation open source large language model Llama 2 with its own advanced artificial intelligence processor (APU) and comprehensive AI development platform (NeuroPilot) to build a complete AI computing ecosystem for smart car devices, accelerate the development of AI applications for smart car devices, and provide users with a safer, more reliable and differentiated experience. It is expected that by the end of the year, smart car devices equipped with MediaTek's new generation Dimensity flagship mobile chip will support AI applications developed with the Llama 2 model, bringing users an innovative generative AI application experience.
