CATL is in talks with General Motors to build a lithium iron phosphate battery factory in North America

CATL is negotiating with GM on a technology licensing model and plans to jointly build a lithium iron phosphate power battery factory in North America. The planned annual production capacity of the factory is no less than that of the factory jointly built by CATL and Ford, and is expected to support more than 400,000 new energy vehicles.
