Nikon and Daimler plan to use FMCW lidar technology in the industrial and automotive fields respectively

Nikon plans to start mass production of FMCW lidar in the industrial automation field by the end of the year, while Daimler plans to start adopting the technology in 2026 and increase to hundreds of thousands of units in 2027.
