In early 2023, CATL signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Mengshi Technology, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Group. The Mengshi 917 model will use CATL's battery technology and will have the "CATL Inside" logo printed on the body. Market sources pointed out that CATL plans to open its first offline brand showroom in Chengdu in August 2024 to showcase the "CATL Inside" models.
