CATL deepens cooperation with multiple automakers

In the field of complete vehicles, CATL has invested in many established car companies including Chery and Changan, as well as many new car-making forces such as Zeekr, Aiways, and Avita. In 2021, CATL invested 2.42 billion yuan in Avita and became its second largest shareholder. In 2022, CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chery Group and acquired a stake in Chery Holdings. In 2023, CATL participated in Zeekr's US$750 million Series A financing, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement on business cooperation and advanced technology empowerment with BAIC Group.
