Ambarella and Samsung Electronics Collaborate to Launch New Automotive AI Domain Controller Chip Based on 5nm Process

Ambarella has collaborated with Samsung Electronics to develop a new CV3-AD685 automotive AI domain controller chip using Samsung's 5nm process technology. This chip will provide a single-chip solution for autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and support multi-sensor fusion and path planning functions. Ambarella's CV3-AD685 chip is equipped with a new generation of CVflow AI engine, which has excellent neural network processing capabilities and can provide comprehensive performance support for L2+ to L4 autonomous driving vehicles.
