CATL enters the green energy field and develops green electricity such as photovoltaic and wind power

In 2022, CATL's 1.1GW national-level large-scale photovoltaic power generation base for complementary fishing and photovoltaic power generation was launched, and its research on perovskite photovoltaic cells also progressed smoothly. In 2023, the sea area use demonstration report of the Ningde Deepwater A Zone Offshore Wind Farm Project was made public, marking CATL's official entry into the offshore wind power field. CATL also carried out green power development such as photovoltaic and wind power in Jining, Shandong, Yichun, Jiangxi, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, and Ningde, Fujian through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Green Energy.
