GAC celebrates its fifth anniversary and welcomes the 300,000th battery pack off the production line

The joint venture between GAC Group and CATL, Contemporary GAC, recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and welcomed the 300,000th battery pack off the production line. The event was held both online and offline. Contemporary GAC has invested a total of 4.372 billion yuan in two phases, with a planned battery production capacity of 18Gwh. The first phase of the project has completed a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan, and since its commissioning, it has achieved a total battery output (including energy storage) of 33Gwh, with an industrial output value of more than 16.5 billion yuan.
