Nodar GridDetect technology without lidar revolutionizes vehicle perception systems

The Hammerhead technology developed by Nodar uses a stereo camera to generate 3D point clouds without the need for LiDAR. The technology was demonstrated at the 2023 International Auto Show and can detect 100 mm obstacles within 150 meters without an on-board LiDAR sensor. In addition, Nodar has also launched the GridDetect function, which further extends the detection distance to 350 meters. Since its establishment in 2018, Nodar has raised $14.5 million and has cooperated with many OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
