NXP releases S32Z and S32E real-time processors

NXP has launched a new generation of S32Z and S32E real-time processors to bring safe and high-performance solutions to automotive platforms. These two 16nm processor series support cross-domain functional integration of software-defined vehicles, providing gigabit-class main frequency, multi-application isolation and memory expansion capabilities. The S32 platform extension helps customers take advantage of its common advantages in new automotive architectures, such as Arm Cortex processor cores, hardware security engines, etc. S32Z is suitable for security processing and real-time domain control, and S32E is suitable for electric vehicle control and intelligent drive applications.
