Kodiak launches first fully autonomous Class 8 electric truck

Kodiak Robotics showcased the industry's first fully autonomous Class 8 all-electric truck at the 2023 Advanced Clean Transportation Expo. This Peterbilt Model 579EV electric truck is equipped with the latest SAE Level 4 autonomous driving system, the Kodiak Driver. Kodiak plans to expand autonomous driving technology to other sustainable vehicle platforms in the future, such as hydrogen fuel cell trucks.
