Experts point out that GAC and Zhiji batteries are not completely solid-state

Dr. Lin Xinyou, head of the new energy vehicle and intelligent control team at Fuzhou University, said that although GAC and Zhiji claim to use solid-state batteries, these batteries are not pure solid-state types. He explained that solid-state battery technology includes semi-solid, quasi-solid and pure solid, with energy densities of 350Wh/kg, 400Wh/kg and above 500Wh/kg respectively.
