The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Promoting the Evolution of 5G Lightweight (RedCap) Technology and Application Innovation and Development", aiming to promote the continued reduction of costs in key links of the industry such as 5G RedCap chips, modules, and terminals, and to achieve richer application scenarios and continuous improvement of the application scale of 5G RedCap in fields such as the Internet of Vehicles.
