Tesla's low-cost electric car project is on hold, resources shifted to Robotaxi program

Tesla's low-cost electric vehicle project, codenamed NV9, has reportedly been shelved, with CEO Elon Musk deciding to put the company's resources into the previously announced Robotaxi project. Although there have been reports that Tesla has canceled its low-cost electric vehicle plan, Musk has denied this. Tesla plans to release its RoboTaxi self-driving taxi project for the first time on August 8.
