With the strong rise of domestic new energy vehicles, the sales of Japanese and German joint venture brands in the Chinese market have been significantly impacted. Data shows that Nissan China's cumulative sales in 2023 will be 793,000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 24.8%; Honda China's sales will be 1.234 million vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of more than 10%; Toyota's sales in China will be 1.701 million vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 12.36%. This phenomenon reflects that domestic consumers' recognition of domestic new energy vehicles has gradually increased, and the popularity of Japanese cars in China has declined.
