Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory increases production capacity

Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory is located in the Lingang Industrial Zone of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Construction began in 2019 and pilot production was put into operation in 2020. In 2023, the output of Tesla's Shanghai factory will reach 727,000 vehicles, accounting for 70% of Shanghai's total new energy vehicle production.
