Jaguar Land Rover develops new battery energy storage system

Jaguar Land Rover has partnered with energy storage startup Allye Energy to develop a new battery energy storage system (BESS) designed to provide zero-emission electricity for travel. The system can charge nine Range Rover PHEVs and can be connected to renewable energy sources at fixed or off-grid locations via a multi-input connection connected to a limited-slip differential.
