HP plans to move more than 50% of PC production outside China

HP is considering moving more than 50% of its personal computer (PC) production out of China and setting up a "backup" design center in Singapore to reduce geopolitical risks. The plan represents the most aggressive move yet by the leading U.S. PC maker to diversify its supply chain away from Asia's largest economy.
