On December 8, 2023, Huahong Integrated Circuit (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huahong Group, took over the former GlobalFoundries project, while BYD took over the former Unigroup Chengdu Memory Manufacturing Base. These two takeovers will bring new industrial opportunities to the integrated circuit industry.
