Infineon Technologies Completes Sale of Two Packaging Plants to ASE

German chipmaker Infineon has completed the sale of its two back-end manufacturing facilities, located in Cavite, Philippines and Cheonan, South Korea, to two wholly owned subsidiaries of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE). ASE will continue to operate with existing staff and expand the two facilities to accommodate various customers.
