BMW factory introduces new humanoid robot Figure-02 to improve production efficiency

On August 6, AI company Figure AI released its latest humanoid robot Figure-02 on the X platform, which has been fully upgraded in terms of software and hardware. In the field test conducted at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, the robot was able to walk freely and smoothly, and complete a number of industrial tasks such as body handling, placement and quality inspection, which marks the acceleration of its commercialization process.
