Coherent, Denso and Mitsubishi Electric jointly invest in SiC business

In October 2023, Coherent reached an agreement with Denso and Mitsubishi Electric to jointly invest $1 billion in Coherent's SiC business. The investment will allow Denso and Mitsubishi to each exchange for a 12.5% ​​non-controlling stake, while Coherent will hold the remaining 75% stake.
