Mitsubishi Electric and Coherent maintain long-term collaboration in 8-inch SiC business

Mitsubishi Electric and Coherent have maintained a long-term partnership in the 6-inch SiC business and reached a cooperation on 8-inch products in May last year. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for Coherent to supply 8-inch n-type 4H SiC substrates to Mitsubishi Electric's new 8-inch SiC plant in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
