Weilan New Energy and NIO cooperate to promote the mass production of solid-state batteries

The cooperation between Weilan New Energy and NIO has made the mass production of solid-state batteries possible. NIO took a fancy to Weilan New Energy's 350Wh/kg solid-state lithium battery project and contacted it many times before finally reaching a cooperation. Their cooperation has promoted the birth of the Huzhou Power Battery Base, which is expected to put into production 2GWh and 20GWh of production capacity in the third quarter of 2023 and the end of 2024, respectively.
