Chevrolet Malibu to be discontinued in November

General Motors announced that the historic Chevrolet Malibu model will be discontinued in November 2024. Since its launch in 1964, Malibu has sold more than 10 million units worldwide. The production line at the Fairfax plant in Kansas, USA will be replaced by the Chevrolet Bolt launched in 2025. Malibu was once Chevrolet's iconic model and has adopted front-wheel drive since 1997. In 2011, the eighth-generation Malibu was introduced to the Chinese market, and the ninth-generation model, the Chevrolet Malibu XL, was launched in 2015.
