SICK and Aeva collaborate on FMCW lidar

Germany's SICK has been working with Mountain View-based Aeva for several years and signed a multi-year development agreement in August 2022. SICK said FMCW lidar is expected to provide advantages in various industrial sensing applications, while traditional dToF lidar using pulse sources faces technical challenges.
