The world's first 700TEU pure battery-powered container ship sets sail

On January 15, the world's first 700TEU pure battery-powered container ship "COSCO Shipping Green Water 02" set sail from the COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Terminal in Yangzhou to the Yizheng Jieshuidao waters for a three-day sea trial. The ship has a total length of 119.8 meters and a battery capacity of 57,600kWh, making it the world's largest pure electric ship with the largest battery capacity.
