Yutong establishes first electric commercial vehicle assembly plant in Qatar

On December 15, 2024, the new energy commercial vehicle factory jointly established by Yutong and Qatar's national transport company Mowasalat officially started construction in Qatar's Umm Al Hol Free Zone. This is Qatar's first electric commercial vehicle assembly plant and Yutong's first new energy commercial vehicle factory in the overseas market. The factory is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of 2025, with an initial annual production capacity of 300 vehicles, which will be increased to 1,000 vehicles in the future.
